Privacy Policy
K2K Studios · Dungeon Peaks: Solitaire Quest · Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy covers Dungeon Peaks: Solitaire Quest and the other mobile games published by K2K Studios ("we", "us"). It explains what information is used when you play, why, and the choices you have. Published at https://k2kstudios.co.uk/dungeon-peaks/privacy/
What we collect
We don't ask you to create an account with us, and we don't collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location. The game has no chat.
- Game progress. Your Adventure levels and stars, Dungeon runs, heroes, relics, town, gold, gems, purchases and settings are stored on your device.
- Game Center / Google Play Games (optional). The game asks Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android) to sign you in, so it can unlock achievements, post your scores to leaderboards (Adventure levels cleared, deepest Dungeon floor and total stars) and keep a cloud save. Your player name is shown in the game's Settings, and your name and scores on leaderboards are visible to other players as those services allow. The cloud save is a copy of your game progress (the same data as above, including what you've bought) held in your Game Center (iCloud) or Google Play Games account, so it can follow you to a new device. We don't receive your Apple or Google account details; that data is held by Apple or Google under their privacy policies.
- Purchases. In-app purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. To stop fake and repeated purchases, the game sends the product and the store's purchase details (the transaction ID on iOS, the purchase token on Android) to our server (a Google Cloud Function in the United States), which asks Apple or Google whether the purchase is real. For each genuine purchase it keeps a record in Google Cloud Firestore: an identifier made from the transaction ID or purchase token, the platform, the product, how many times it has been checked and when it was last checked.
- Usage statistics. Google Analytics for Firebase records how the game is played, for example levels started, won and lost (with the level, stars and moves), Dungeon runs (the floor reached, gold, relics picked and bosses fought), town upgrades, gems spent, ads offered and watched, and in-app purchases. It uses a random app-instance identifier, and records the device model, operating system, app version, language and approximate country or region (from your IP address). We use it to balance the game and fix what's too hard or too easy. It doesn't include your name or anything you typed.
- Crash reports. If the game crashes or hits an error, Firebase Crashlytics sends a report: what went wrong in the code, the device model, operating system and app version, and a random identifier for your installation. We use it only to fix bugs.
- Remote settings. Firebase Remote Config downloads numbers such as how often ads appear, when offers and the rating prompt are shown, and difficulty, so we can tune the game without an update. To do this Firebase uses a random installation identifier and your app version, language and country.
- Advertising. The free game shows ads from Google AdMob and the ad networks it works with through mediation: Liftoff Monetize, InMobi, Unity Ads, Meta Audience Network and Pangle. You'll see full-screen ads between levels, a small ad under the Adventure board, and reward videos that you choose to watch. Google and these networks may collect your device's advertising identifier (on iOS only if you allow tracking), IP address (used for approximate location), device information and how you interact with ads, to show, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland (and other places where the law requires it) you're asked for consent first, and you can choose non-personalised ads; on iOS, Apple asks whether the app may track you. Both questions come after the first levels, and no ad is requested until you've answered. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Ratings. Now and then, after you've played a while, the game asks the App Store or Google Play to show its rating card (on Android the game asks you first). Ratings and reviews go to Apple or Google; we don't receive who left them.
How we use it
To run the game and keep your progress, to provide achievements, leaderboards and cloud save, to deliver what you buy and stop fraudulent purchases, to fix crashes, to see which parts of the game are too hard or too easy and tune them, and (through Google and its ad networks) to show ads that pay for the free game. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anything else.
Legal bases (UK/EU): performing our agreement with you (running the game, purchases), our legitimate interests (preventing purchase fraud, fixing crashes, understanding and improving the game), and your consent where it's required (personalised ads).
Who receives it
- Google (AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Cloud Functions and Firestore, Google Play and Google Play Games), as our service provider and, for ads, as an independent controller under its own policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Apple (App Store, StoreKit and Game Center), under its own policy.
- The ad networks AdMob works with, when they serve an ad, under AdMob's consent settings and their own policies: Liftoff (https://liftoff.io/privacy-policy/), InMobi (https://www.inmobi.com/privacy-policy), Unity (https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy), Meta (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy) and Pangle (https://www.pangleglobal.com/privacy).
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States, under safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your choices
- Ads: change your ad consent at any time in the game's Settings, "Privacy choices"; on iOS, turn tracking off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; on Android, delete or reset your advertising ID in your device settings. You can also remove the ads between levels and under the board with an in-app purchase (reward videos are always your choice).
- Game Center / Google Play Games: don't sign in, or sign out in your device's Game Center settings or the Google Play Games app. The game works fully without it (no achievements, leaderboards or cloud save).
- Delete your data: see https://k2kstudios.co.uk/dungeon-peaks/delete-data/ for how to delete your progress and the data held by us and our providers. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device.
- Your rights: depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how it's used, or move it elsewhere. Because we don't have accounts, we may need your help (for example the date and product of a purchase) to find the data that's about you. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO: https://ico.org.uk).
Children
Dungeon Peaks is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Retention and security
Usage statistics are kept by Google Analytics for up to 14 months and crash reports by Crashlytics for 90 days, then deleted. Remote Config's installation identifiers are kept under Google's Firebase retention terms. Purchase records on our server are kept for as long as needed to prevent the same purchase being used twice and to meet our accounting and legal obligations. Data held by Apple, Google and ad networks is kept under their own policies. Everything is sent over encrypted connections and stays with the services named above, under their security measures.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top.
